?
Several important facts led to the creation of HEALTHLYNX, including:

- Health care expenditures
in the US currently exceed $1.2 trillion annually or 14% of the GNP.
HEALTHLYNX is the
result of a search for solutions to challenge the rising tide of healthcare costs
and to accommodate the gap in insurance coverage for many Americans. As the HEALTHLYNX
Access Card was being developed, a team from our parent organization, BrainyBrawn,
Inc, pledged to combat rising healthcare costs by developing a discount card that
could:
1) Provide valuable savings on needed healthcare products and services;
2) Ensure high quality products and services related to the card; and
3) Provide members with access to health information.
What evolved from these
initial pledges is the HEALTHLYNX Access Card - the discount card with a
difference.
